\nOnly one species of the Martime Territory fauna, Neopealius rubi Tak., has been recorded in Japan (Honshu). The unusually slight similarity between the whitefly fauna of the Martime Territory and that of Japan is clearly not a reflection of the real situation, but is to be explained by uneveness in studies of the Aleyrodoidea of the Japanese islands.
